BIRCH RUN -- Several dogs and cats found their forever homes this weekend as the Saginaw County Animal Care Center held its first off-site adoption event.
Prospective pet owners got to meet and greet animals at the RV and camper show in Birch Run.
All animals were spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all their shots.
It was also an opportunity for the animal care center to test its new fee structure.
Adoption fees were temporarily increased to cover the animals' medical costs.
Dogs cost $175 and cats cost $90 at today's event.
"It's just the most wonderful feeling in the world to be able to send out a homeless or a stray animal to a family that is going to be able to give that animal love and care and a forever home," says Dr. Tina Roggenbeck a Saginaw veterinarian.
You can adopt an animal during the week at the Saginaw County Animal Care Center between 8 and 4.
