Josh Gorman is now fighting for his life
A Frankenmuth man seemed to have it all. Until he was stricked with a life-threatening disease in the prime of his life.
After graduating from Frankenmuth High, Josh Gorman attended classes at Delta College for a career in Criminal Justice. He then joined the Navy in 2004, when he served for 2 years. When he came back home he joind the Naval Reserves for 2 more years. Along the way he was married. He now has a wife and a 4 year old son, also named Josh.
Then he got some bad news.
Josh was diagnosed with hodgekin's lymphoma, a cancer of lymph tissue found in the lymph nodes, spleen, liver, bone marrow, and other sites. It's by no means a death sentence and the National Institute of Health website says it's the most curable form of cancer. Josh's prognosis isn't good.
State Representitive Ken Horn of Frankenmuth is helping to sponsor a dinner to raise money for Josh. It's this Sunday from noon to 4 at the American Legion Post 150, in Frankenmuth.
