A Bridgeport man has died of carbon monoxide poisoning while working on his furnace at his home along Studor Road.

Firefighters entering the home wearing masks found the man's body Saturday morning.

Officials say a neighbor called 9-1-1 after not seeing the man for several days.

His name has not been released.
