Kalamazoo College student dies after bacterial meningitis diagnosis

Around 120 people are being treated for bacterial meningitis after officials say that a sopohomore student at Kalamazaa College died after being diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.
According to Associate Press reports, 19-year-old Emily Stillman of West Bloomfield Township died Sunday due to complications from the infection.
Reports state that she had been in the hospital since Friday.
About 350 students, faculty, and staff at the southwestern Michigan school gathered in Stetson Chapel on Sunday to remember Stillman. Her funeral is Tuesday at The Dorfman Chapel in Farmington Hills.
No additional cases of bacterial meningitis have been reported. Health officials say the likelihood of additional cases at Kalamazoo College is low.
