SAGINAW -- Catholics are celebrating a milestone for the Diocese of Saginaw.

75 years ago today Pope Pius XI established the Diocese of Saginaw.

Parishioners came together in a celebratory Mass at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption.

The Saginaw Diocese covers 11 counties and serves more than 108,000 parishioners.
