Thursday, July 15, 2010  The Big Ten Conference office announced today (Thursday, July 15) the list of Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award recipients with 41 University of Michigan student-athletes receiving the prestigious designation. The list of 2010 scholars includes 26 female and 15 male representatives across 16 sports.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010  Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the NHL's top defensive forward for the third straight year.

Monday, June 21, 2010  Wide receiver and Academic All-American Blair White (Saginaw, Mich.) received the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor along with women’s basketball center Allyssa DeHaan (Grandville, Mich.). The Medal of Honor is presented to a male and female senior student-athlete at each conference institution for outstanding athletic and academic achievement.

Tuesday, January 05, 2010  University of Michigan junior guard Manny Harris (Detroit, Mich./Redford) was named a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award and was selected as a Midseason Top-30 finalist for the John R. Wooden Award.
