Saginaw Spirit captain Chris Chappell was named the runner up for the prestigious Ontario Hockey League’s Leo LaLonde Memorial Trophy, given to the league’s most outstanding overage player.

The Saginaw Spirit suffered a 7-5 loss to the Oshawa Generals Monday afternoon, but not before fighting through a five goal deficit to in the later half of the game to at one point be within one goal of tying up the contest.
