Thursday, June 16, 2011  Flint Powers defeats Detroit Country Day by a final of 2-1 in Division 3 semi-finals in high school girls soccer. They advance to the finals at Michigian State University Saturday afternoon, where they will play Hudsonville Unity Christian.

Monday, May 09, 2011  Senior Joe Shannon ripped a go-ahead RBI triple in the 6th inning, then added a bases clearing double one inning later as the Davison Cardinals pounded the Flint Powers Chargers 9-3 in game two of a Big 9 doubleheader Monday evening in Mt. Morris Township.
