Saturday, February 26, 2011  The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team closed-out the 2010-11 regular season with a 76-61 home victory over Northern Michigan University on Saturday night (2/26) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) match-up.

Thursday, February 24, 2011  Both SVSU and Northwood endured narrow home losses on Thursday night, but the Timberwolves' setback proved far more costly.  Their 73-71 loss to last-place Northern Michigan eliminated them from playoff contention, as the Cardinals therefore clinched a berth as a result.

Sunday, January 23, 2011  The Saginaw Valley State University men's basketball team hosted the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday afternoon (1/22) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) match-up.   The Cardinals came-away with a 12 point victory, making it four wins in a row after a 65-53 victory.
