The Saginaw Spirit acquired the right to 91-born center Brandon Pirri, a second-round pick of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, following a trade with the Sudbury Wolves. In return, the Wolves acquired the prospect rights to 91-born Robert Visca.

Hermenegildo is a 91-born defenseman from Thornhill, Ontario that was selected by the Sudbury Wolves 47th overall in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.
