Their storybook run through the post-season has come to a disappointing end for the Flint Generals. The Generals fell to the Fort Wayne Komets in Game Five of the Turner Cup Finals in Fort Wayne on Saturday night, by a 3-2 final.

The Flint Generals have been here before. After a 6-2 loss in front of a raucous crowd of 4,065 at Perani Arena on Friday night in Game Four of the Turner Cup Finals, the Generals now trail the best-of-seven series three games to one.

The Flint Generals came back to life on home ice and Jamie Schaafsma's goal in overtime capped off a wild night at Perani Arena as the home team beat Fort Wayne 7-6.
