Starting December 15th, Comerica Park will turn into a hockey haven, including a Red Wings practice open to fans, high school hockey games, open skates, concerts, the first-ever outdoor OHL game: a double header including the Saginaw Spirit, as well as a showdown between Red Wings and Maple Leafs alumni.

Olympia Entertainment released preliminary plans for the Hockeytown Winter Festival, which will be held at Comerica Park leading up to the Winter Classic January 1, 2013 at Michigan Stadium.
