We are watching a small piece of upper level energy over eastern Iowa this morning. It will spread some lake effect/enhanced snow shower activity throughout Lower Michigan today, with accumulations staying around a dusting to 1/2". A few bands off of Lake Michigan could deliver a little more to a few areas. This energy moves east tonight, allowing our westerly winds to shift out of the northeast, and those winds over Lake Huron could deposit a couple of inches of snow over the Thumb, especially the eastern Thumb, by sunrise tomorrow.
