Tiger roars with a nine-under 63

GRAND BLANC TWP. -- Much like a 24-hour flu bug, Tiger Woods' first-round struggles proved only a temporary setback, and are now completely out of his system.

The two-time former Buick Open champion followed up his opening round 71 with a blistering 63 on Friday, propelling him into contention at the halfway point of the 51st Buick Open.

Tiger, now at -10 overall, finds himself in a six-way tie for fifth place.  At the moment, he and everyone else is chasing Aussie John Senden - the clubhouse leader at -14.
