Eagles advance to Division Three state semis in girls soccer

MONTROSE -- Frankenmuth kept applying the offensive pressure, knowing their hard work would eventually pay off.  And it did.

Emily Cookingham's goal late in the second half broke a scoreless deadlock, and would eventually lift the Eagles to a 1-0 win over Freeland in a regional title game in Division Three.

The Eagles advance to the state semi-finals on Wednesday, June 16th, and will meet either Detroit Country Day or Williamston with a trip to the state championship game on the line
