Hornets' Paterson scores hat trick in 3-2 triumph

GENESEE TWP. -- Despite being outpossessed by a wide margin in the opening half, Kearsley still managed a 2-0 halftime over their Flint Metro foes from Swartz Creek, and then held on for a 3-2 win.

The Hornets were paced by senior Laurence Paterson, who tallied all three goals for the home team.  It was enough to hold off a Dragons team which came up empty on numerous chances in the opening half, before finally through with two goals in the second half.  But their efforts still left them one tally short, as Kearsley earned the league victory.
