Cavaliers earn four-set victory on home court
CARROLLTON TWP. -- The visitors from Merrill did not make it easy, but Carrollton found a way to earn their first league victory of the season in high school volleyball action from Wednesday night.
After winning the first two sets by scores of 25-21 and 25-20, the Cavaliers squandered a third-set lead as Merrill climbed back into the match with a 25-23 victory. But the Cavaliers re-grouped in the fourth set and earned a 25-19 win to close out the victory.
