Corunna OL had been committed to Indiana
FLINT -- Flint Northern running back Thomas Rawls pushed up his college announcement a day, because of Wednesday's snowstorm, and his decision comes as an early present for University of Michigan fans.
Rawls has accepted a scholarship offer from Michigan, meaning he will play alongside Grand Blanc running back Justice Hayes in Ann Arbor next fall.
The Wolverines entered the picture late, as many people close to Rawls expected him to sign with a MAC school or the University of Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, Corunna offensive lineman Jalen Schlachter has changed his college choice from Indiana to Ball State.
The Hoosiers fired Bill Lynch after a 5-7 season, and hired Kevin Wilson.
There were concerns that Wilson would retract Schlachter's scholarship offer.
Is Ball State a better fit for Schlachter than Indiana?
