High school football kicks off in Mid-Michigan
High school football kicked off tonight in Mid-Michigan as teams from all around the area took to the gridiron.
In a shootout, Flint Northwestern defeated Flint Beecher 46-44 in two overtimes in Atwood Stadium.
Former MSU star and Flint native Andre Rison coached the Wildcats to victory, getting the first win of his career after going 0-9 last season.
Flint Southwestern defeated Saginaw Arthur Hill 26-20 in Mount Morris.
Knights freshman JohnAnthony Fulgham ran for the game-winning score in the fourth quarter.
