Montrose, Goodrich, Bendle and Davison also pick up wins
BYRON -- Byron picked up a win and stayed tied atop the Genesee Area Conference Blue with a 55-22 win over Atherton.
Quarterback AJ Morley completed 23 passes for 409 yards and four touchdowns.
Montrose also continued their perfect season with a close 31-30 victory over Beecher.
Goodrich topped Mt. Morris in a GAC-Blue matchup by a score of 36-8.
Bendle came up with a big shutout over Genesee 41-0, moving the Tigers to 6-1.
Davison topped Flushing in a Big Nine matchup in a 48-34 thriller, continuing the Raiders woes, as they continue their five-game losing streak.
Byron (7-0) travels to Bendle (6-1) next week, Montrose (7-0) will play host to Lake Fenton (5-2), Goodrich (5-2) will play at Millington (7-0), and Davison (3-4) will travel to play Carman-Ainsworth (4-3).
