Twins continuing stellar career at Fenton
FENTON -- Thursday we told you that the Hick off Brothers from Fenton chose Notre Dame College in Ohio to play basketball next year. Friday, we went to ask them why?
Dylan and Ryan were kind of shy when the camera was rolling, but once they got on the hardwood, you can see why the senior guards were chosen chosen for first team all metro last year.
The brothers said they've been playing together since second grade and they never thought of going to separate schools.
They visited Notre Dame College outside of Cleveland last weekend and the school made them an offer on the last day of the signing period.
The duo said they're thrilled with their decision and so are their parents, who can now make on trip to see both sons.
"I really like the coaches and the players there," Dylan Hick off said. "I liked the atmosphere and I like the school and the campus. All around it's a good school."
"We really wanted to go to the same school and we are fortunate to have that opportunity," Ryan Hick off said. "We've been playing together our whole lives and we know how each other plays. It's fun for us to play together."
Notre Dame is in its final year as an NAIA institution. The Falcons will move up to Division II next season.
