EAST LANSING -- It was just one of those nights for MSU. They shot 62 percent from the field, 56 percent from the three point line, and if you do the math, it adds up to Sparty's 15th straight win. But, that isn't what coach Tom Izzo was talking about after the game.

"The 15 assists on 19 baskets in the first half and the 5 on 37 is probably the most impressive thing on the night for me," Izzo said Tuesday night. "The times in the first half that Nix made some unbelievable passes from the inside out, I just thought the guys were so unselfish.”

“We just came out with that energy and I think it was the Izzone," Derrick Nix said. "They were fired up before the game.”

Credit Draymond Green as well, not just for his 22 points and 10 rebounds, but the senior's continued leadership on the court has made Coach Izzo's job that much easier.

"[Draymond] did a great job in the huddles, not letting things get away and responding," Izzo said. "When you challenge a guy for the most part, he’s going to get the job done.”

“You don’t have many nights like that when you shoot the ball like we did, but we just take it one game at a time and our focus will never be on a streak because streaks are made to be broken," Draymond Green said.

Now the 15-game streak isn't to be ignored. As a matter of fact, it's MSU's longest win streak since coach Izzo's first final four run back in 1999. And, when asked if this team was just as special, he said this team's got a long way to go and that continues this Saturday at Northwestern University.
