Flint's city-owned golf courses reach agreement with new management

FLINT -- The four city-owned golf courses located in the city of Flint will be under new management this season.

The city entered into maintenance agreemtns with Flint City Golf and the Mott Park Public Golf Course Assocation to help run their public links.

Flint City Golf will operate the Swartz Creek, Kearsley Lake and Pierce Park Courses while the Mott Park Association will manage the Mott Park Course.

Flint's Emergency Financial Manager says the city could no longer afford to support the golf courses from the general fund.
