FLINT -- The Michigan Warriors were forced to play desperate hockey at Perani Arena Saturday night.

Coming in, the Warriors were down 2-1 in their first-round best-of-five NAHL playoff series against Port Huron.

Michigan came out to a solid start, scoring two goals in the first period off the sticks of Martin Gruse and Michael Economos.

But, the Warriors allowed the Fighting Falcons to score five unanswered goals and lost 5-2 Saturday.

Michigan is now eliminated from the NAHL playoffs.
