ALLEN PARK -- Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz addressed the media Thursday morning in preparation for the start of Lions training camp on Friday.
After a 10-6 season last year that included a playoff appearance, many expect this 2012 squad to be as good or better.
Schwartz said the Lions aren't thinking along those lines, just yet.
"The playoffs are a long way away," he said.
He would say that he hopes his team practices like a "playoff team" and meets like a "playoff team" and conducts themselves like a "playoff team." If they take a short-term approach like that, Schwartz said the rest will fall into place.
