ALLEN PARK (AP) -- In his third season with the Lions, Nate Burleson is trying to mentor a couple young receivers who are important to Detroit's future.

The Lions haven't been shy about adding additional targets for quarterback Matthew Stafford, who threw for 5,038 yards last season. Calvin Johnson remains the focal point, but Detroit also drafted Titus Young in the second round out of Boise State in 2011, and this year the Lions picked Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles in that same round.

Burleson says he's now under pressure to perform, and that it's also his job to mold Young and Broyles into the best receivers they can be at that point.
