MIDLAND -- Loons outfielder Nick Akins comes to the Loons from Los Angeles, where he played at Riverside CC then at Vanguard University before being drafted by the Dodgers in 2009.
Akins says he's into rude, in-your-face jokes and wearing crisp, high, white socks.
