FRANKENMUTH -- No sophomore slump for the division five state champs, Powers Catholic.

The Chargers beat Flushing Friday 54-0 to remain a perfect 9-0.

Frankenmuth did the same, the Eagles beat Vassar 42-0 at home to go 9-0 for the first time since 1997.

It's the first time the Eagles have won the TVC since 2007.

Saginaw Valley Lutheran has never been to the post season in school history, until now.

The Chargers beat Coleman Friday night 32-16 to stamp their ticket in.

Carman Ainsworth and Davison battled for second in the Saginaw Valley League South Friday.

It's the Cavaliers who come out on top, beating Davison 48-21.

Playoff matchups will be announced on Sunday.

Tune in to NBC25 Friday at 11 o'clock for a special playoff edition of Friday Night Football.
