LINDEN -- He loved the theater and always had a big smile to offer.

A 17-year-old Linden High School Junior, Josh Pacheco, took his own life on November 27th after his family says he was bullied.

Dozens of Josh's friends and classmates crowded downtown Linden Wedensday night at a memorial vigil for Josh.

NBC25 reached out to his family but have'nt been able to speak with them.

MLive reports, Josh was part of the Fenton-based Kidz Theatre Kompany and called his four siblings his best friends.

"Basically, we're protesting bullying as well as remembering Josh. Kids can come forward and tell their stories of bullying and you know, it's gotta be stopped," Josh's friend Alana Steele said.

Our heartfeld condolences go out to Josh's family during this difficult time.
