FLINT -- "Get on the bus. We're going to Lansing".

That's what Flint-area workers are saying as they head to the state capitol, to protest the Right to Work legislation. A spokeswoman for UAW Region 1-C says they expect "3 or 4" buses will leave Flint, packed with union members. Along the way they may chant "Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Right to Work has got to go". The local UAW delegation will be headed by UAW Region 1-C director Norwood Jewell.

The Teamsters are also sending people on busses from Flint. At last report, they were on their way to the state capitol. They left from their headquarters on Dort Highway near I-69. That group is headed by its longtime spokeswoman, Nina Bugbee.

The MEA is also expected to bus teachers and other union employees to Lansing from the Flint area. It's spokesman was unavailable to comment on Monday.
