FRANKENMUTH -- Frankenmuth''s Bavarian Inn Lodge is taking top honors as the highest ranked family resort in the state.
Online travel site "Trip-Advisor" reports the lodge is the most talked about and reviewed resort in Michigan.
The resort added two water slides in a November renovation that saw improvements to the Inn's Family Fun Center.
The ranking is determined by guests, making it extra special.
"It tells us that our guests are very happy with their experience and we're happy to be able to respond and thank them for what they are doing. It takes a long time sometimes to actually sit down and write a post," Judy Zehnder said.
The Lodge received four-and-a-half out of five stars in online reviews.
