Billy Shane Young can really sing
He own a small body shop in the Freeland area. But Billy Shane Young has bigger dreams. The 35 year old native of the south says he's lived in Michigan most of his life. But he still has a little southern charm that you can hear in his soulful voice. We heard it during a segment on NBC 25 Today.
He recently was among the finalists in a karaoke contest associated with the recent Snowfest. Although he does a lot of covers from singers like Bob Seger, he's also written many of his own songs.
Billy says he just wants to sing.
