FLINT -- The Genesee County Treasurer's office is scheduled to hold a informational session about avoiding foreclosure because of property taxes.
The event will be held today from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sarvis Conference Center at the Flint Cultural Center.
Attending the session will be the Treasurer's office as well as Mission of Peace, Michigan Department of Human Services, Metro Community Development, Genesee County Community Action Resource Department, Flint Neighborhood Improvement and Preservation Department, and Veterans.
The idea behind this meeting is to provide residents of Genesee County a point of contact to get all questions answered as well as getting help if needed.
