DETROIT (AP) -- A judge has sentenced two Detroit men to prison for the torture, dismemberment and killing of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a burning car.

Wayne County Circuit Judge Thomas Jackson sentenced the men Tuesday after plea deals that they reached with prosecutors earlier this month.

He sentenced 25-year-old Jason Miller to 25 to 52 years in prison for second-degree murder and having a firearm during a felony. Twenty-six-year-old Terrance Griggs received a sentence of 12 to 42 years in prison on the charges.

Detroit firefighters found the bodies in a car April 29, 2012. The body of Michael Bostick was in the trunk, and that of Kyra Jordan was in the back seat.

Jackson says it appears a third person planned the killings.
