A woman was assaulted in Frankenmuth last night
FRANKENMUTH -- A Frankenmuth woman is assaulted by a man waiting in the back seat of her car.
Police say the incident happened last night around 10 p.m. in a private drive on the 200 block of South Franklin.
The woman said the man demanded her purse and when she hesitated she was struck from behind in the head and neck area multiple times with an unknown blunt object.
The suspect then fled the scene.
