AKRON TOWNSHIP -- Authorities have recovered the body of a man who was missing five miles off of the Tuscola County shore.
The Coast Guard had been called out Saturday night based on reports of a crashed airboat.
Two men were on the boat, according to authorities.
One man, Gary Godfrey of Banister, was taken to the hospital for what is reported to be minor injuries.
The other man, 39-year-old Jason King of Reese, was found dead Sunday by rescue crews.
The Coast Guard had turned over the rescue operation to Tuscola and Huron County. The Huron County Sheriff's office dive team was deployed for this operation.
