ROYAL OAK -- A utility says it has halted projects throughout Michigan that involve the same drilling method used before a deadly Detroit-area house explosion.

Consumers Energy says employees and contractors are conducting a review of projects involving boring.

Fifty-eight-year-old Daniel Malczynski died in the Royal Oak blast last month.
