Raiders win 61-58 in district opener
SAGINAW -- Jordan LaDuke had 26 points and the Flushing Raiders knocked off Saginaw Valley champion Arthur Hill 61-58 Monday night in Saginaw.
Flushing meets Owosso Wednesday in the district semi-finals.
At Birch Run High School, the Panthers fought valiantly but lost to visiting Hemlock 53-47.
The Huskies move on to face Chesaning on Wednesday.
In Class C, Hamady's tournament run began with a 60-43 win over fellow GAC Blue member Bendle.
The Hawks improve to 21-0 on the season, and meet host Atherton on Wednesday.
