Cavs blast Lapeer West 66-32

FLINT -- Carman-Ainsworth held Lapeer West to just nine first half points en route to an easy 66-32 win over the Panthers at Flint Northern High School Monday night in boys district playoffs.

The Cavaliers will now meet Flint Northwestern Academy Wednesday night in a Class A district semifinal.

In Class C, Byron got by Montrose 57-49 at Bendle High School.

The Eagles' victory sets up an all GAC Blue showdown Wednesday night against Genesee.

The Wolves beat host Bendle 83-73 on Monday.
