15-day disabled list for both pitchers
LAKELAND, FL -- The Tigers today placed righthanded pitcher Joel Zumaya on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 27 with a sore right shoulder and lefthanded pitcher Dontrelle Willis on the 15-day disabled list with an anxiety disorder.
Additionally, the Tigers today returned the contract of lefthanded pitcher Kyle Bloom to the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.
Following today’s roster moves, 35 players remain in major league camp with the Tigers.
