Hornets stay undefeated on early season

GENESEE TOWNSHIP -- Kearsley scored two goals in the second half and held on to beat visiting Saginaw Heritage 3-2 in girls high school soccer Monday night in Genesee Township.

The Hornets are now 3-0 on the early season, as they prepare for their first ever conference campaign as part of the Flint Metro Conference.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half.
