Flint beats Port Huron 5-4 at Perani Arena
FLINT -- Joel Gasper scored nine minutes into the second period and the Flint Generals closed out a disappointing season with a 5-4 win over playoff bound Port Huron Saturday night at Perani Arena.
Even with the victory, the Generals finished the 2008-09 season 25 games under five hundred.
Maxime Lincourt had a goal and two assists to pace the Generals, who ended the year 22-47-2-5 and 53 points out of first place.
