Hornets build quick 7-0 lead
GENESEE TWP. -- The Kearsley Hornets stormed out to a 7-0 lead, and used a steady stream of offense the rest of the way to beat Vassar 16-2 Wednesday evening in Genesee Township.
Ryan Prine's 2-RBI single in the third made it 9-1 Hornets, and that gap was more than enough for Kearsley pitcher Cody Lamb.
