Late goal from McDowell not enough for Cards
DAVISON -- Flushing goalie Josh McIntosh gave up a late goal to Davison's Trevor McDowell, but followed up with a stellar save in the final minutes to preserve the Raiders' 2-1 win over the Cardinals Thursday night at Davison High School.
Flushing led 2-0 at the half and kept it that way for most of the second half.
Davison's McDowell found himself with the ball and some open space and beat McIntosh using his left foot.
