Junior averaging 17.7 points per game
SVSU junior forward Keithan Jackson has been named GLIAC North Player of the Week.

BAY CITY -- Saginaw Valley State University junior forward Keithan Jackson (Grand Rapids, Mich./Godwin Heights) and Ashland University junior forward Kale Richardson (Carroll, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week," respectively, as announced by the league office today (Nov. 30).
Jackson, a junior forward led the Cardinals to a 75-62 victory over Olivet College in SVSU’s only action last week.
Jackson scored 28 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and recorded a steal and an assist in 39 minutes of play in the triumph over the Comets. For the season, Keithan is averaging a double-double with 17.7 points and 12.7 rebounds per contests, while shooting .559 (19-of-34) from the floor, and .417 (5-of-12) behind the arc.
The Cardinals will host Urbana University tonight (Nov. 30) in a non-conference match-up before they host defending the defending National Champion Findlay Oilers on Thursday to open up GLIAC play. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm inside James E. O'Neill Areana.
