Midland Mall hosting three-day event
MIDLAND -- The Midland R/C Modelers Club is hosting its annual indoor show at the Midland Mall beginning Friday.
The show runs through Sunday, during regular mall hours.
The 80-member club is always looking to add new r/c enthusiasts.
"These planes can start out as beginner, with very little investment, 200-500 dollars to get into the hobby. Models go as high as thousands (of dollars). Electric is the moving craze with the battery technology moving as fast as it is. A lot of the sport is going to electric," says club vice president Mike Fjerstad.
