Coach has spent time at several Mid-Michigan schools
UNIVERSITY CENTER -- Coach Alonzie "Lonnie" Griffin has been hired as the new Head Men's Basketball Coach at Delta College. Lonnie’s most recent coaching assignment was this past year at Central Michigan University.
His prior coaching experiences have taken him to Alma College, Northwood University, and Grand Valley State University.
Coach Griffin brings a wealth of experience of recruiting the Great Lakes Bay Region area, being from Shepherd. He has established recruiting ties to the high schools in which Delta College serves.
