Vikings take both games of twinbill, 16-3 and 13-9

MIDLAND -- An early 3-0 lead by Freeland served as an effective wake-up call for TVC Central foe Swan Valley in a Tuesday afternoon doubleheader from Dow Diamond.

Facing that deficit after two innings of play, the Vikings' bats then exploded in the third inning, roughing up Falcon pitching to the tune of seven runs.  Swan Valley's offensive onslaught continued throughout the opening game of the doubleheader, as they posted a 16-3 victory.

The Vikings then earned a sweep of the twinbill with a 13-9 victory in game two.
