Jon Bills preparing for surgery
ANN ARBOR (AP) -- Michigan says tight end Jon Bills was injured in a car accident.
The school released a statement Monday saying Bills was resting comfortably and preparing for surgery.
He was in an accident with teammate Mark Moundros and ex-Wolverines player Kirk Moundros. They're both his cousins.
Bills is from Farmington Hills and played sparingly in two games last season as a redshirt sophomore.
