Nick Lidstrom to drive pace car at NASCAR race

(AP) -- BROOKLYN, Mich. - Two of the biggest names in Detroit sports will play a role in Sunday's running of the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Detroit Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom will serve as the honorary pace car driver for the Sprint Cup race in Brooklyn. He'll also take part in pre-race ceremonies.

And Detroit Lions rookie Ndamukong Suh will be an honorary official for the race.
